Gotham Comedy Club has been a Chelsea anchor since 1996, booking nationally touring headliners alongside industry-night regulars in a polished main room that's a cut above the typical basement club. Linen tablecloths, a 30-plus vodka list, and actually decent pub food. Weekends book out fast — reservations recommended. One of the few clubs where the room itself adds to the experience.
