The Met rotates roughly 50 works from its Korean collection to show what's usually hidden — the undersides of lacquerware, the backs of Buddhist sculpture, the inside of ceramic vessels. A simple curatorial idea that turns out to be genuinely revelatory: you realize how much of an object's meaning lives in the parts no one bothers to look at. Free with general admission.
