Twenty-five works trace the New York years of George Morrison (1919–2000), the Ojibwe painter who arrived in the city in 1943 and quietly became a key figure in Abstract Expressionism — showing alongside de Kooning and Pollock while developing his own horizon-obsessed visual language. An overdue reckoning with a major American modernist whose Indigenous identity meant he was systematically sidelined. Free with general admission through May 31.
